There are two parking lots behind the State House in Trenton. Parking is free and state workers generally fill the lot. Not today. State workers and almost all other visitors have been sent away from the lot and forced to pay for parking several blocks from the State House.
There's a reason that's being given to the paying parkers; the lots are reserved for family and friends of Governor Chris Christie so they can park for free, close to the State House as they gather to watch Chriastie deliver his first State Budget Address.
Rank has its privileges.

Wow, I thought EVERYONE needed to SHARE SACRIFICE.
They probably needed 1/2 of the lot for the caterer. I wonder what the food bill is at the governer's mansion?
Poor state workers. It must have been soooo hard for them to walk.
I find Governor Christie to not only be attractive and intelligent but also compassionate...he left tissues in the other 1/2 of the parking lot for crybabies like you!!!
GO CHRISTIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
