Conservative radio talk show Rush Limbaugh clearly has a thing for New Jersey's new Republican Governor. If you doubt the veracity of the previous statement, consider the following declaration by Limbaugh, "Ladies and Gentleman, is it wrong to love another man? Because I love Chris Christie!"
Asked about Limbaugh's love, Christie joked, "That made me a little uncomfortable." He added, I'm just doing what I said I was going to do. What shocks me is that we're getting so much attention for just doing what we said we were going to do..........That's pretty sad that just doing what you said you were going to do gets national attention."
Christie says he's gotten unmercifully teased about Limbaugh's profession of love. He says, "I appreciate the fact that any number of folks around the country and in New Jersey have appreciated that we're going to stand up and do the right thing and want to compliment us for it........The whole 'love' thing, again I'm a little uncomfortable with that."
