BIG MEETING CONFIRMED BY A PACK OF 7-YEAR-OLDS

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a Republican is meeting today with State Senate President Steve Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver, both Democrats to try and hammer out an agreement on public worker pension and health benefits reform.

A rumor circulated this morning that such a meeting might take place in Christie's office, but nobody could or would confirm it. I headed downstairs with Associated Press reporter Angela Delli Santi to stakeout the Governor's office. We had no clue if we were wasting our time until a group of 7-year-olds on a school trip tour of the State House tried to get in to see Christie's outer office. They came right back out and told us they had to leave because the Governor had a very important meeting with two lawmakers. Thanks kids.
