Assemblyman Peter Barnes who collapsed early today while I was interviewing him has left the State House with his staff. As a member of the Assembly Environment Committee, he wanted to stay and take part in the panel's scheduled 2pm hearing but was, for all intents and purposes directed by chairman John McKeon to go home and see a doctor.
I wish him well and a speedy recovery and certainly hope it is nothing serious.
