HIGH DRAMA ON THE SET OF THE SHOW CANCELED FOR BEING A BAD DRAMA

State Senator Paul Sarlo invited his fellow budget committee members to the set of the NBC television drama “Mercy” tomorrow (June 9th). This television show was filmed in Secaucus, NJ.

New Jersey is debating removing the tax credit that previously was granted to film in this state. This impending loss to the production company has caused NBC to break down its Secaucus production facilities and transport them to New York at a cost of more than $1 million.

However, The NBC show ‘Mercy” seemed to pull such a low rating averaging around 1.7 (according to hollywoodreporter.com on May 14th) that the network cancelled this show! Consequently, will this demonstration have any effect on legislative votes?
