It is the website that everyone in or around New Jersey politics reads several times a day, every day and today politckernj.com is showing results from a very interesting poll. The site is asking viewers to chime in on who they think will win the Democratic Nomination for Governor in 2013.
If you think Newark Mayor Cory Booker and State senate President Steve Sweeney are the frontrunners, as I thought, you'd be wrong just like me.
Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula currently holds the lead with 15%. Booker is a close second at 14%. Sweeney nets 9% of the vote. He's tied with State Senate Majority Leader Barbara Buono and they both trail new State Senate Budget Committe chairman Paul Sarlo by two percentage points.
