2010 LEGISLATIVE CORRESPONDENTS' CLUB SHOW NEXT WEEK

We hope you can make it to this year's show. The speeches are (almost) always funny and this year we've added video and audio components to the program. Below is a letter with all of the info you could possibly need. The missive comes from NJN political correspondent Zack Fink who is this year's President and will definitely be very funny........

Dear Friend of the Club:

The New Jersey Legislative Correspondents Club is carrying on its century-old tradition of poking fun at this year’s headlines and the folks who make them. We would, once again, like you to join us.

The 2010 Annual Legislative Correspondents Club Show will be held Wednesday, May 12, at the The Palace at Somerest. Seats are limited so be sure to register on time. The Palace is located at 333 Davidson Avenue, Somerset, NJ.

In order to give everyone ample time to visit with their colleagues before the show, the Club has once again arranged for an extended cocktail reception which will include an open bar, carving & pasta stations from 6 p.m. to 7:45.p.m. At 8:00 dessert and coffee will be served at reserved tables in the ballroom, followed by the show. Our aim is to provide all of our guests with “extended networking time” and less time restricted to your individual tables.

In order to accomplish this, we WILL BE COLLECTING YOUR TICKETS before you enter the reception area. Please be sure to send out your tickets to your guests ahead of time. No one will be allowed in the reception area without presenting his or her ticket.

Tickets this year are $139 and will be sold via mail. Once again, each table will be set for 12. Keep in mind that you can buy a table of 12 or, if you purchase less, others will be seated with you. Please send your ticket request to NJPA. Reach out to Peggy A. Stephan, Member Services Manager at the NJ Press Association.

Looking forward to seeing you and your guests at the dinner.

Sincerely,
